It is said that during 1999, the morning talk show host, Montel Williams was diagnosed for multiple sclerosis, an illness that damages the cells of brain and spinal cord. During her talk show in 2009, she said that the primary symptom was pain from shins to her feet, which remained all the time.

At that time, she was busy in her project of television show, “Living Dolls”. During 2007, Berry claimed to have gotten rid of the disease. She said that she had Type 2 diabetes.
