10. Male Turkeys Aroused By Severed Heads
Pennsylvania University researchers Edgar Hale and Martin Schein conducted this experiment back in 1960. They couples male turkeys with models of female turkeys to observe the matter. Then researchers concluded that the male turkeys were totally attracted towards the female head. They kept on removing the body parts of the models of female turkeys and saw that the male turkeys were still fascinating. It is truly a bizarre experiment. Isn’t it?
9. Monkey Head Transplant
Robert White; an American scientist is famous to be a man who was successful to operate a true head transplant. In 1970, this scientist experimented with monkey head and wanted to place it on new specie. Before this he had done an experiment of dog head transplant successfully. The monkey capitulated one and a half day after because of the complications due to surgery. It is a weird experiment in the history.

Imagining an elephant on acid is very weird. In 1962, Louis Jolyon West and Chester M. Pierce who were Oklahoma City researchers discovered the happenings if an elephant slips and falls in acid. They brought a big animal from zoo. The final reports obtained ware totally different from what they had thought. They could find that the elephants are very sensitive to acids, and cannot survive in a tub of LSD for more than a few minutes.

1n 1967, researcher John Lilly published his controversial book about dolphins named as The Mind of The Dolphin. It has details of the time she spent to study dolphins’ lifestyle. She has said that dolphins get intimate with a human. In an experiment, she brought a dolphin and kept it in a human community. The dolphin, with the passage of time, developed affection for the human beings. This bizarre experiment had nothing to do with Lilly’s reputation.

In 1951, a scientist Dr. Dorothy Spangenberg wanted to find the effects of gravity on human body, and for this she sent jellyfish in space. Dorothy with her team members brought about 2,478 baby jellyfish along with crowd of Columbia space shuttle for performing their experiment. The jellyfish flourished well in the space and their population kept on increasing in the double triple amount as compared to their existence on earth.
2. Disembodied Dog Head
Disembodied dog head is another bizarre animal experiment ever. This was performed in 1928 by a Russian scientist Sergei Brukhonenko astonished his fellow scientists. Sergei claimed that he has a machine which can keep a head alive. To prove his point, he detached the body parts of the dog and the blood circulation in its head was normal. The experiment is truly very bizarre.
1. Two-Headed Dogs
It is another bizarre experiment ever done on dogs. It was in the early1900s when an American scientist Charles Guthrie achieved some results, followed by Russian scientists Vladimir Demikhov and A.G. Konevsky during the Cold War. They reported that it is possible to keep a dog alive with two heads. None of their creations could succeed, and the experiment has nothing to do with usefulness.
