10. I Know What You Did Last Summer sequels
In 1997, the movie named I Know What You Did Last Summer, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe and Freddie Prinze Jr. was released. One year after, its sequel had come named I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, with the previous actors reprising their roles of the four friends, followed by a 2006 unknown third sequel, I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer.

9. Return to Oz
The Wizard of Oz of 1939 stars Judy Garland. This is one of the most exceptional musical fantasies of all time. The movie is an inspiration of L. Frank Baum’s novel. The film was followed by a sequel that was released 46 years later, too confusing for all of us. The 1985 movie named Return to Oz introduced Fairuza Balk as Dorothy. This remained unknown by many of us.
8. French Connection 2
The French Connection is an Academy Award winning thriller movie, starring Gene Hackman and Roy Scheider in lead roles of Popeye and Cloudy. Fernando Rey plays a French criminal. About four years after, in 1975, the movie was followed by a sequel named French Connection 2. Hackman and Rey returned for the sequel, but this failed to become popular.
7. Son of the Mask
The Son of the Mask was released in 1994. This blockbuster movie stars Jim Carrey. In the sequel, the Mask’s powers are shown to have inherited by an infant born to a cartoonist. The movie, due to its boring concept, couldn’t become a hit. This was presented in 2005.

6. Home Alone 4 and 5
The Home Alone 3 was released in 1997. The movie was miles away from the original movies, released in 1990 and 1992, starring Macaulay Culkin. This was yet another bad movie sequel, or we may call it an unknown sequel that couldn’t impress the audience and critics.
5. Legally Blonde 3
The Legally Blondes 3 is the third sequel of the Legally Blonde series. The first two movies starred Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods, while the third part has Camilla and Rebecca Rosso as Isabelle and Annabelle Woods. The director of this movie is Witherspoon, and was released in 2009, six years after Legally Blonde 2. It was a flop movie.
4. Mean Girls 2
The teen comedy of 2004 stars Lindsay Lohan, and has featured Tina Fey, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, Amanda Seyfried, Lizzy Caplan, Tim Meadows, Ana Gasteyer, and Amy Poehler in supporting roles. The 2011 sequel of this movie stars Meaghan Martin and features Jennifer Stone, Maiara Walsh, Nicole Gale Anderson, Claire Holt and Diego Boneta, with Tim Meadows as the returning person. It remained unknown.
3. Dr. Dolittle 3 – 5
The 1967 musical movie Doctor Dolittle was a nice one. It was followed by Eddie Murphy starring 1998 blockbuster comedy, Dr. Dolittle, and the 2001 sequel, Dr. Dolittle 2. Then was released the sequel, starring Kyla Pratt as the new Dr. Dolittle. Not only this but also came Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief in 2008, and then Dr. Dolittle: Million Dollar Mutts, or Dr. Dolittle: A Tinseltown Tail in 2009. All these movies were box office flops, and couldn’t match the standards of the original movie.
2. Dirty Dancing 2
The Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights was released in 2004, and was the sequel of 1987 dance Drama, Dirty Dancing, starring Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze. The misuse of the storyline and poor star performances led this movie to get fail. It had Romola Garai and Diego Luna featuring the lead roles.
1. Cruel Intentions 2 and 3
The 1999 film, Cruel Intentions stars Sarah Michele Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon and Selma Blair. This is one of the most popular high school teenage movies. This was followed by a sequel in 2000, named Cruel Intentions 2, starring Robin Dunne, Sarah Thompson, Amy Adams and Keri Lynn Pratt. The sequel was badly crafted, and didn’t impress the audience.
